Sunstate Management Group (“SMG”) was founded by Michelle Thibeault in March of 2009 as a Community Association Management firm servicing Sarasota and Manatee Counties. Our goal is to provide outstanding customer service to Community Associations by customizing our services to meet the specific needs of each association. The team at Sunstate Management Group is a pro-active team of professionals who have years of experience and possess the Community Association Manager’s (CAM ) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Customer satisfaction is our first priority and we strive to exceed your expectations.

Michelle currently holds a Florida CAM license and has been in the association management business in Florida since 2004, working in Manatee and Sarasota counties extensively. Michelle has completed three of the Community Associations’ Institute classes in preparation for her PCAM case study. She is well versed in management of homeowner association, condominium associations and co-operatives in the State of Florida. Michelle has worked with over forty different associations on the West Coast of Florida. Michelle has extensive knowledge of Florida Statute 718 for condominiums as well as 720 for homeowners associations in Florida.

Sunstate Management Group believes that all Associations have the right to expect detailed attention to their business. Each Association has its own unique and individual needs, whether its is financial reports, insurance, environmental, engineering, security or some other agenda. We provide the dedicated, professional, certifed and accessible management team who will work effectively with the board in order for it to function optimally. Sunstate Management Group is committed to aide Board Members to comply with their fiduciary duties and responsibilities. We work closely with the Board, Committees and Vendors to improve and maintain the appearance and the value of the community.
